n_05/08/2011 - BBC History - New Development and Character Animation work

Just finished working on the latest episode of BBC History's A day in the life. The 2'30" animation - set this time in Victorian times - is part of a series about Eric, a primary school kid who daydreams to live
in past historical periods. I developed the animatic and animated the characters in 10 days using Flash. Watch Victorians or Romans on the BBC!

I worked on the animated bits of a Sony TV commercial for its latest handy-cam at HMX Media. The work involved rotoscoping but there was also a bit of animation I got lucky to do!

I recently finished designing, animating and directing the animation for the title of 7Lives, director Paul Wilkins' first live action feature film. The 15 seconds hand drawn Photoshop animation sequence
trys to visually convey the main character's emotional journey as he deals with the loss and retrivial of his identity and priorities. I'll upload the sound version as soon after the films' release.

a primary school kid who daydreams to live in past historical periods. I had the challenge and the pleasure of character animating all characters in 10 days using Flash. Watch it on the BBC!

Check out Mia, a pre-school 1'30" CBBC's short animation for the TV channel's spring season programming. I have worked on it at London based production complany Beakus animating all the characters
designed by talented New York based director Sarah Orenstein. I think the result is pretty fun to watch, evenfor grown ups!

Just finished working on a Channel 4 storyboard at London's production company Somethin' Else. Great fun and a very quick turnaround for the 75 boards of the main live-action sequenceof a new

n_21/02/2011 - Channel 4 - New commercial work

Here's a sneak preview of the freelance animation work I was involved in for the TV programme The Science of Art, a primetime, landmark Channel 4 arts project to be broadcast in June 2011.
I worked on the animated short film The Sledge by the Moth collective which will feature in the programme's section dedicated to storytelling. I animated the characters designed by the collective in 3 scenes
including a particularly gruesome and challenging one featuring a monster-mother attacking her own son! Very exciting and unusual work in yet a new style!

Recent animation freelance work I was involved in for E.ON's Evergy-Saving campaign at London's MPC for DLKW Lowe.
I was the lead 2D animator for the people characters' turn-arounds and I have been the technical director and lead 2D animator of the animations involving the E.ON's mice. Very exciting experience!

n_18/11/2010 -E.ON's Digital Outdoor Screens - Energy-fit Campaign - Mice!

Had a brilliant time and met many great people whilst working as technical animation director and keyframe animator on another bunch of animations for E.ON's Energy Saving campaign. We had an extra tight
deadline but managed to deliver all the animations on time including an installation for London Underground's escalators' panels. The other screens included giant animated outdoor screens across the UK
It was produced at London's Moving Picture Company and has been directed by DLKW Lowe Limited. You can have a look at the animated mice here!

n_30/10/2010 -E.ON's Digital Outdoor Screens - Energy-fit Campaign - People!

Had a great time working as key animator on the animation for a series of giant animated outdoor screens for the latest E.ON advertisment campain produced at London's Moving Picture Company and
directed by DLKW Lowe Limited. I animated these E.ON characters turning towards camera. You can have a look here!

Worked for a few fun days at UNIT 9, London, on director Anrick Bregman's iPhone Xtreme Xrunch Kart game. I assisted the animation and animated one of 6 in-game cinematic sequences.
